Students from the faculty sometimes visit the farm, and they have used our farm as a case study in research projects.<\/p>\n<p>In the past we have also had students from the UK come to work on the Farm to carry out projects, normally over a couple of months. Accompanied by their teachers, Nefi Echevarr\u00eda and Marian Lancibidad, the group spent the entire afternoon with our veterinarian, Dr. Mauro Torterolo, and with our production manager, \u00c1ngel Lezcano. This was the time of the new diary re-fit, therefore she participated and helped during this transition from milking 20 cows to 40 cows at one time! She also worked teaching English as a Foreign Language in a local language school in Progresso.
