Visit from “Field and Roots” workshop of Minga Project
🇬🇧 A different afternoon…
Last week the “Field and Roots” workshop of Minga Project started and the first practical outing was to our farm.
18 young people, John Díaz Cortés, Mario Tortarolo (Project volunteer veterinarian) and Nicolás Cejas spent the afternoon with us in a “small training session” about the different work tasks of a milking farm.
With the support of volunteers and friends, Minga Project is a comprehensive care and promotion support for adolescents and young people aged 14 to 18 in situations of social and cultural exclusion. It has headquarters is in Las Piedras where they offer different training experiences to young people.
We hope for the next generation of tamberos, chicos.
